Every year we create Organic Holiday Blend anew. This year we have combined some of our favorite coffees for a unique and special blend for 2016. We start with the end in mind and created a blend to be enjoyed with friends and family over the cold winter Holidays.
We have been working with several excellent cooperatives in the highlands of Western Honduras for many years. These organic cooperatives unite small holder farmers and give back to their local communities. This coffee brings a hefty mouthfeel to the cup with a rich malty character with notes of molasses and cocoa nibs.
Some of our favorite organic coffees comes from the Finca Chiripa Estate in the Chiapas region of Mexico. We have been relationships going back many years with this family run farm. This coffee lends a deep fruit sweetness that ties the blend together.
UCASUMAN is a 200 member cooperative in the Jinotega region of Nicaragua that the Rogers Family has been buying from the past decade. Grown on small, single farm estates - these are very special coffees with balanced full-bodied flavors and lively overtones.
We combined some excellent lots from various cooperatives in the Lake Atitlan region of Guatemala. Grown Exclusively on Small Estates by villagers high above the shores of beautiful Lake Atitlan. Guatemalan coffees are perhaps the best kept secret among gourmet coffees with complex premium flavors with high grown acidity.
