Customer of the Month- September

Thank you to Michael for speaking with me about his experience as our customer and with our coffee. I greatly appreciate that you took time out of your day to chat with me!

Michael is a long time buyer of SFB coffee at Costco. He's a retiree from the Naval Reserve and the insurance world and he and his wife began their coffee journal in the 60's with Pour Overs. They enjoy their coffee strong and through their travels of Europe, they have grown an affinity to beautiful, rich coffees, specifically the coffee they tasted in Italy. Michael and I chatted for about an hour about coffee and life and it was a delight to learn more about him and his experience with our family.

LR: How did you find out about SFB Coffee?

M: "We had been buying it at Costco, we're price shoppers and I like that I can see the beans I'm buying and that it's dark coffee."

Furthermore, his neighbor buys our OneCup products and they both were excited to learn about our help with the communities of the farmers we buy from and the housing programs we have built throughout our (almost) 40 years!

LR: What's your favorite product?

M: "French Roast Coffee."

LR: What keeps you being a loyal customer?

M: "The value, it doesn't just cost less, it's a good product and even if the price was the same as the others, I would still buy your product."

As the granddaughter of the owner, I like to ask those who interact with our brand what improvements they would make, as we strongly believe, there's always room for betterment.

LR: Do you have any improvements that you think would make us a better company?

M: "Sell smaller portions and market the company more!"

We are definitely working on the marketing side of the company so we can increase our customer's knowledge about our products and programs. 🙂

Thank you so much for taking time out of your day to speak with me, Michael and congratulations on being our Customer of the Month!  Feedback and our customer's thoughts prove to be the best way to improve our company, because we are, as we like to say, Growing the Largest Family in the World.

So come and join the family!

Do you want to be our customer of the month? Would you like to give us your customer testimonial? Email me! Let's chat 🙂

Hi Monica, the amount of caffeine in a cup of coffee depends on the coffee you’re drinking, if you enjoy one of our darker roasts you’ll be drinking less caffeine than one of our lighter roasts, the caffeine level varies from 80mg (a dark roast) -100mg(a lighter roast).
      I hope I helped 🙂

Great coffee beans. When will we see more of them being sold on your UK site? I would like to try more of your decaf bean varieties. We only have a choice of one. Is there no way to ship via your UK office?

Hi Peter, thanks for your comment! We are currently working on expanding our UK store to include more variety, we will keep our customers updated on our progress and I’ll add more decaf varieties to the list. 🙂
Please reach out should you have any additional questions.

Hi Jim, the orange boxes are a variety pack with French Roast, Fog Chaser, Breakfast Blend and Rainforest.
The brown boxes just have the Breakfast Blend in them!
