5 Ways to Brew Coffee While Camping

It’s the moment you’ve all been waiting for… SUMMER! The weather is starting to warm up, kids are getting out of school, and summer plans are brewing! But your plans shouldn't be the only things brewing while you're on vacation! While you’re making these plans, it’s good to know how to brew your coffee wherever you go!

When I was a kid, it was a family tradition to go camping with family friends every summer, and I know my parents always needed their coffee! So, to make it easier for you, here is 5 simple ways you can brew a cup of coffee while camping!

Instant Coffee:

Now I know Instant coffee isn’t always someone’s first choice when it comes to their daily Joe, but it’s a very simple way to get that dose of caffeine you need in the great outdoors. All you have to do is heat up some water, and pour the instant coffee in, mix and enjoy! Minimal time, and minimal effort for a great start to your day!

Pour Over:

This option requires a little more than some coffee and some water. The options are endless as to which pour over you use, but there are some cheap ones out there. All you do once you have the supplies is slowly pour your hot water over the coffee. This method is easy to use, and it’s also reusable! However, if you don’t have time to let the filters sit out to dry, you will have some wet filters you need to deal with.

This is available through Aerobie, which is available on Amazon.  All you need for this is the product, some coffee, and a few disposable filters. It only takes 2-4 minutes for the coffee to be done brewing, and the product is reusable, which cuts out some waste products! The only downside is that the Aeropress can be difficult to clean, especially when you’re camping.

Coffee Press:

For this, you would need to buy a coffee press to bring to the campground.  This method takes around 3 minutes and can create multipole servings at one time! The only problem here is that sometimes, some grounds will end up in your coffee, and who likes that!

"Glamping" :

Lastly, some people are better at "glamping" than really camping, so if that’s the case for you, grab your OneCup french press and some of our tasty One-Cups and create your favorite single serve coffee, even from your campground!

Let us know which method you'll be using on your camping trip this summer!
