4 Spiked Coffee Recipes To Make Mother's Day ROCK!


If we have any job on Mother's Day, it's to ensure mom has a great day. And what better way is there to guarantee good times than adding a little booze to the mix.

Whether you are a grown child or the dad of littles, Mother's Day is on your shoulders. Don't let momma lift a finger, except for that pinky finger as she takes her sips.


The Chilly Irishman


  • 2 cups ice
    4 oz cold espresso coffee
    2 oz Kahlua
    1.5 oz Irish Whiskey
    2 scoops vanilla ice cream
  • Garnish:
    Cocoa nibs or shaved chocolate


The Dublin Iced Coffee


  • 2 oz. strong cold-brew coffee
    2 oz. stout
    1½ oz. Irish whiskey
    ¾ oz. simple syrup
    1/2 ounce heavy cream
    Freshly grated cinnamon stick (for serving)


The Long Island Iced Coffee


  • 1 tbsp dark rum
    1 tbsp vodka
    1 tbsp gin
    1 tbsp Tequila
    1 tbsp Tia Maria
    2 tbsp ginger beer
    1-2 tbsp lime juice
    Cold brew coffee, to top up
    Lime wedges to serve


Creamy Boozy Iced Coffee


  • 6 ounces strong brewed coffee, well-chilled
    large handful of ice cubes (tip: freeze leftover coffee in ice cube trays for coffee ice cubes)
    1 ounce Frangelico
    1 ounce half-and-half, or to taste (or cream, milk, flavored coffee creamer, non-dairy milk to keep vegan)
    sweetener to taste (sugar, stevia, vanilla stevia, or your favorite sweetener)
    whipped topping (or whipped coconut cream to keep vegan), optional for garnishing
    pinch dark chocolate shavings, optional for garnishing
    squirt of chocolate syrup, optional

    do you roast any coffee from Peets or do you have a similar one to their major dickinson? ( preferrably decafe)
